I find that sometimes when I'm feeling remotely upset about something or someone, I tend to say things I don't actually feel.

I've been living on floors, and couch surfing the past few weeks. I have also gone without a cell phone for quite sometime, and am completely broke at all times. Sure, all of that sounds pretty shitty, but I've been enjoying my time and myself more than ever. Honestly, money and luxuries are nothing compared to good friends. I've realized after the pass few weeks how I've got it good. I'm surrounded by some of the greatest friends anyone could have. I'm so thankful for all of them. You all have great hearts.

As I was saying, the last few weeks have been phenomenal. I've taken a bit of time off of work to hangout with someone who is really something special.

Someone I know claims that love/lust/affection or whatever you want to call it, is just a 'chemical reaction in the brain that inclines human beings one way or the other towards breeding. Sure, maybe, but only to a certain extent. I don't know if I have ever experienced this "love" thing, or if he has either but I definitely don't agree with that statement completely. But I hope that it's not just a chemical reaction that happens in the brain but another kind of reaction that happens elsewhere. There's not much I can say about it though because it's not something I'm well educated on since all the information I get about love is from a variety of cheesy romance films. All I am saying is that I hope this person doesn't continue life thinking that love isn't actually something real deep down but only something that happens because our brains are programmed a certain way, or something like that.

Anyways, back to what I was talking about previously. I'm content with my life right now and where I stand with this person. I truly do think I'm lucky and don't deserve anything I'm currently getting.
I didn't think any summer would be comparable to last years, but this summer is already looking better. It may have a rough ending like last year, or it may be the start of something. I'm hanging on tight, but only time will tell.
